What sort of farce is being played out at the Hague? Karadzic refuses to appear at his trial so the trial continues without him. Many observers and witnesses want to see the "Monster" but he decides his own moves and says he needs more time. Did they do that at Nuremberg or with Saddam?

Much fuss tonight about Nick Griffin appearing on BBC question time. Of course all his blacksuits were in evidence as were all the thugs who "join a protest for 10 quid!"

Griffin is not a threat to British politics---he is a charlatan and bigot. He may win a few seats and council positions but his manifesto of anti-immigration is too late. He is too left wing for wise voters and may appeal to racists and anti-immigration supporters.

The problem with Griffin is that he is like a Mafia boss---he is followed by thugs, racists and people who live in the age of apartheid South Africa. Griffin thinks he's a modern day Enoch Powell but he is living in the past.

Look at the man carefully on your screen, listen to his convictions. Hear the voice carefully-----This man is as thick as 3 planks and heaven knows how he gathered a following. Thats how Mussolini did it---by the old "bullshit baffles brains" way.

Blair, as Middle East Envoy (who has done nothing for Palestinian/Israeli peace), wandered through the West Bank yesterday (suggesting no solutions, pressing the flesh as envoys do---and nodding as if he single-handedly knew a way to solve the problems of a 60 year conflict), was called a"terrorist" by an onlooker. Blair earns good money as an envoy and has grand apartments in some palace or other when he overnights in Jerusalem. He reminds me of a bath attendant who gets tips for flushing loos and mopping floors for the gentry but couldn't give a damn except for the tips.Can't fix a faulty cistern though. Blair's tips are huge.

Terrorist? What a misnomer. Tony Blair is a war criminal along with his cronies Bush and Rumsfeld. This man plotted war for no reason and being brighter than Bush, you would have thought he knew of the consequences of the aftermath.Everyone knows about the Iraq invasion but what many do not think on are the dirty reasons for starting it and the lack of preparation for phase 2---Helping the Iraquis to get their pride back by providing adequate services for electricity, water, sewage, telephones et al. As well as training an adequate police force properly.

You can argue as much as you like but these men were demolishers, not builders.

Ah well, Blair(who may become President of the EU), is in exalted company. Other presidents or leaders who were war criminals have preceded him: Charles Taylor, Kurt Waldheim, Milosevic, Goering and El Bashir of Sudan. There are many more.

Jenson Button has tried desperately to show his worth and he is a perfect example of an excellent driver who had resigned himself to a succession of crap cars and crappier teams. His excellence shone once he first settled into the seat of a brilliant car----Brawn's meticulously prepared Honda-engined car. A lot of the success must go to Ross Brawn and Honda: they provided a winning car for Button, once relegated to the back benches.

Button has a great lead on points and I doubt Abu Dhabi will change things.

I said there was a point two and that concerns Twitter. Now, what is Twitter? To me it is a lazy person's way of blogging and an outlet for thoughts that capture attention. I can just imagine Chief Twitterer, or is that Tweeter (could be Stephen Fry!), saying: "Bugger this. A blog is far too long and requires constant maintenance. Let us create a one or two sentence comment with a picture---far better and quicker than a blog--and the rich and famous, as well as the common gentry can twitter (sorry, Tweet), once or twice a day or more." Fortunately Twitter became expensive goods and now is worth millions. Our blogs: Zilch. So the Twits carried on Tweeting (even Sarah Brown), and the twittering tweets became famous.

Geert Weelders is no different to many Hollanders in his country: He does not want to see it overrun by other ethnic groups. Why such a fuss should be made of him is vague. He does not want his country to be invaded by immigrants. It is as simple as that. The only reason he is bombarded by hate posters from Islamic groups is because he does not want his country to be overwhelmed by people of Islam (peaceful as they are), and other racial groups.. He has every right to reject appeals by would-be immigrants who may not be welcome in his country. Holland is a liberal country but that does not mean that every Tom, Dick and Ahmed should be allowed entry.

By the way, what gives people from Pakistan, Afghanistan, Somalia, Eritrea,Iraq or Iran (amongst others),the right to demand entry into Holland ? Is there a law giving them entry? No, they're learning from easy ingress into the UK. Geert Wilders is simply trying to prevent a racial explosion in the Netherlands and the problems that accompany it.

I'm getting pissed off by the scrounging society that believes it has a right to put its tent up wherever it pleases.

Once upon a time the Scots were regarded as the nation half drunk in the morning and still drunk next morning. The Irish were not far behind.

Sure, the Scots and Irish still get out of hand now and then but I've never seen one piss on a War Memorial (Daily Mail). This disgusting behaviour is only part of a party. Young English lads and lasses can't hold their drink. They get smashed for fun and ruin their country's reputation by vomitting against walls, collapsing off pavements and seeking fights with any other skew-eyed drunk. They drink, they curse, they argue,they piss and they vomit.

The social and commercial reasons are obvious: Booze is too cheap and many youngsters have no other outlet for excitement on a Friday night. Many, unfortunately don't have much to go home to and others seek thrills, girls (Most of them stupid drunk before they reach the shag they came out for anyway), and ways of releasing pressure and stress. England is not a nation of drunks but it is becoming a nation of the wayward young: yobs, thugs and drunks out of control; girls pregnant at 17 and no answers from government on how to control this. Let's not even go into crime committed by youngsters as young as 13.

I'm not a puritan nor am I English but if no strong government is elected within the next year, the youngsters will destroy further a bad reputation built up by soccer hooligans and the like.

I could write a book ,I suppose, but comments would be more useful. If I find a guy pissing on a sacred War Memorial, I'll knock his teeth out. My father fought for a free Britain, not a nation of yobs.

This is the worst time of the year for the Royal Mail to go on strike: 8 weeks until Christmas and the cards and parcels full of Christmas cheer may not be delivered. Never mind the utility bills, statements,credit card and bank statements etc that will be undelivered.

I sympathise with the reasons for a strike but not the timing. Instead of Postie, people will resort to DHL, TNT and a myriad of others who will probably drop their prices for small items and knock the RM for a loop.

Who's the idiot who decided to bring about action at this time of the year? Sure the sorters, bulk carriers and posties will suffer from this competition in the long run! Due to stupid planning the poor postie may be without a job. And the glorious Royal Mail may stab itself in the back.

There are cleverer people in the World than I but I can tell you technology is much more advanced than ten years ago. Bye Postie.

I am thoroughly sick of reading about Electric cars in the magazines I read. Yes, I'm a car buff and I buy Autocar every week, Car Magazine every month and Evo. No wonder my favourite mag is Classic and Sportscar---no electric cars there! Autocar is the biggest culprit--why don't they form a new magazine with their profits and call it Electric Car? Plug -in electric cars are useless. Let me give you an example: The G-Whiz, a hideous Indian car, is a popular city car in London. Drive from Oxford Street to the British museum and half your miles (about 48) are used up. Hope the silly drivers can get back again!If they do they must plug in to an electricity source. Even if Boris Johnson put plugs all over London how tedious could that be? I mean 48 miles maximum--It is quite pathetic.

Electric cars are mainly powered by Lithium ion batteries (you can get them for your camera)and they have to be re-charged(just like your camera). Problem is electric cars don't take pictures and when your batteries run out you could be stranded half-way to your favourite aunty fifty miles away.

I see no immediate future for electric cars until they develop batteries that can take you down to Brighton and back without having to look at the dying volt meter.

Automobile magazine USA tested the Tesla Roadster (developed by Lotus) and managed a maximum of 189 miles on one run. True the Tesla is a sports car and has huge power developed by those batteries----but would it get you to Birmingham and back?

I'm not convinced by electric cars (remember the milkman could not travel too far in his!)and there remains a lot of work to do on battery power thus range before they can compete with hybrids (Prius et al with engine/electric motors working in tandem). That's the way to go for now.

The electric car's time will come because it is so "clean" but not for at least another 5 years. I personally expect an electric car to have a 500 to 1000 mile range--then we're talking progress!
